The Clothing

posting employment opportunities that are relevant to fashion, clothing,
textiles, or apparel. As a potential employer or an employment agency, you
are welcome to post as often as you wish. We do not charge direct employers
nor do we charge employment agencies. Our sole request to companies that
wish to post employment opportunities is that you only post positions that
are directly relevant to the apparel industry or textiles industry.
The Clothing Industry Jobs board has been specially designed to handle the
unique requirements of the clothing and textile industries. The site is
devoted to companies posting jobs as well as job seekers that have an
interest in jobs ranging from producing fibers to selling fashion in retail
boutiques. Our service includes job search, resume search for employers,
job email alerts, corporate profile creation and job posting at the touch of
a button. The fashion jobs board allows employers or executive recruiters
the opportunity to easily add listings, edit listings and delete listings as
you feel appropriate. Again, the only requirement is that you post jobs
related to fashion or textiles only.
What
do we think of Employment Agencies?
Some
companies refer to themselves as "Employment Agencies" some as "Executive
Recruiters" and others as "Staffing Agencies" etc. In all honesty, we are
not sure the politically correct name for this type of
employment function. Regardless of the proper name, in our opinion
companies that specialize in matching employers with employees are
absolutely "beneficial" to the fashion industry.
An
employment board such as ours is only half the battle in regard to
matching an employee with an employer. If you are an employer and you
really want to efficiently match one of your available positions with an
appropriate employee, using a professional service is clearly a smart
way to proceed. Certainly, posting employment opportunities on a jobs
board is very beneficial, but we feel it should be coupled with the use
of industry experts such as an executive employment agency. Technology
is great, but it is no match for the human mind. Working with a "human"
that understands your industry and your company, may be the best way to
find appropriate candidates for your organization. As you work with an
agency, you will find that they learn your likes and dislikes and can
often weed out unwanted resumes from hitting your desk.

How do
I know if this Jobs Board is appropriate for posting my employment
opportunity?
Well, the
first question to ask yourself is "do I provide a product or service
that is relevant to fashion or fabric?" If the answer is yes, you are
most likely clear for posting on our jobs board. For example, you
may own a warehouse and are wondering if it would be appropriate to post
your job opportunities on our site. As long as your warehouse currently
is in the business of warehousing clothing, fabric, or textile trimming,
you are welcome to post on the Clothing Industry Jobs board. However,
if you are a food warehouse, this is not the proper jobs board for you.
