SPEC WRITER

Description: Spec Writer for Kids Division

Temporary position available for a Spec Writer for Girls Division. Job duties:

1. Develop Spec Sheets from garment and pattern in excel
2. Work closely with patternmakers and designer
3. Make screen placements in Adobe Illustrator
4. Set up grading using standard Grade Rules
Need someone who is fast and efficient to keep pace with in a busy department.

Requirements: This is a temporary position, you must be able to work on the premises, open to candidates who meet the following qualifications:

*Minimum 3-5+ years Apparel Industry experience
*Proficient PC skills: MS Excel, MS word, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Outlook
*Knowledge of patternmaking and sewing construction
*Knowledge of mostly knits and some wovens
*Kids experience a Plus!

Education:
AA Degree Fashion Design or related field

Only candidates with the above qualifications and matching skills will be considered for position.

Compensation:
Salary based on experience
