PR /Event Planner - commission based only

Description: We are looking for hard-working individuals, who will hit the ground running. We are looking for self-motivated individuals. The fashion industry is glamourous, but it is a lot of hardworking individuals who work behind the scences to make this possible.

The candidate will be responsible for the following:
Crisis Management, Promoting events, sending out press releases for new / current models, being a liasion between media and organization, updating company news letter, assist with events, attend fashion events, host company events, blogging, submitting press releases for newly signed models, creating a relationship with media, creating profiles and modifying photos for new and current models, creating company brochures, reporting to upper management, assisting upper management with recruiting , event planning, creating ad campaigns, creating and distributing promo items, planning billboard campaigns

This position will require heavy phone , email work. Effective communication skills is a MUST! This is not for the shy. This work is very demanding, so the lazy need not apply.

The selected candidate must be comfortable working from home and working odd hours {sometimes}.

Serious minded individuals only! If you have other major priorities, please, do not apply! You must be able to dedicate at least 40 hours per week for this position.

Requirements: Qualifications:
Fashion Industry  A plus!
Computer literate{familiar with MS Office Suite}, Flash, Adobe Photoshop
SEO a plus
Diligent and reliable
Excellent Communications skills
Public Speaking skills
Be able to work from home and able to work odd hours
Must have reliable transportation {own car}
Must be able to pass basic skills test and have valid references
Must be reliable and a hardworker. I am not looking for people who want to sit and "twittle" their thumbs all day.
Must have a good work ethic and "thick skin"
Effective writing skills {test will be given for this}
Project management skills/experience a huge plus!!
2 years proven experience with public relations and event planning



Must have a Bachelors and have majored in: Journalism/Business/Marketing


Must reside in the NW Indiana Area.
