Buyers – Accessory Division

Description: Le Château is a leading Canadian retailer offering fashion-forward apparel, accessories and footwear to style-conscious women and men. We are currently hiring both junior and senior candidates to join our Accessory Team.

Responsibilities of experienced candidates:
•Planning product assortment to complement Le Chateau apparel collections, with effective balance of quality, trend, and margin
•Negotiate with vendors to develop merchandise with optimal price/value relationship
•Analyze performance for sales and margin opportunities
•Quickly adapt product offering to changing fashion trends

Responsibilities of junior candidates:
•Assist team members with responsibilities above (with goal to develop your buying career path)
•Create, manage & follow-up on Purchase Orders
•Manage supplier correspondance and sample inventory

Requirements: Position Requirements:
•1 - 5 years fashion buying experience,
or Degree/Diploma in relevant field i.e. commerce, retail, fashion, finance, or marketing
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
•Bilingualism
