Description: FOREVER 21 HEADQUARTERS, based in LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA seeking experienced mid-level Technical Designers for contemporary womenswear: Denim, Bottoms/Pants, knits & wovens, and Intimate Apparel! The Technical Designer deals with all technical fittings for all womenswear, including but not limited to, knits, wovens, denim, pants, undergarments, intimates, sleepwear, loungewear, etc. Incumbent is responsible for Proto through TOP stages of fit and will work closely with designers, product development team, and import & domestic vendors. Incumbent must be highly skilled in fit pricess with a strong background in pattern-making and technical design. The tech designer will attend corrections and provide solutions to factories.
Requirements: - Minimum 2-3 years of Technical Design experience, specifically with womenswear - denim, pants, intimates/sleepwear, knits, wovens.
- Fashion Degree in Technical Design or related.
- Technical Fit expertise, Web PDM, PhotoShop, and Illustrator skills are REQUIRED.
- Pattern-making experience is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environement.
- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented with excellent follow-up/communications skills.
